I had problems gagging on food and was unable to eat anything. After referring me for instrumental testing which showed I did not have anything physically wrong, Jane then referred me to counseling and worked with that professional to help me be able to trust eating again.

Our three year old son understood us, but he only spoke with single words, sometimes two words maximum. Hearing other kids his age speak in full sentences and even paragraphs made us concerned for him. After meeting with Jane, we felt she could help him. Sure enough, at three and a half, he is completely caught up!

I’m an Elementary school teacher and I often lost my voice. My doctor told me I had chronic laryngitis and referred me for voice therapy. Jane taught me how to care for my voice, and how to properly project my voice through breath support which ensures my vocal cords stay healthy. Therapy was educational and fun! Best, I am so thankful to not have a hoarse voice anymore!

My husband had a stroke at 55. Jane not only helped him improve his communication skills and get him to the point he could manage working from home, she took the time to educate me to understand what was going on and the best ways to help him at home. It was a comfort in an otherwise scary situation

I never received speech therapy as a child for my (severe) stuttering. I worked as a mechanic partly because I didn’t need to speak as much to people. When I became a dad, I knew I’d want to be more social with other parents, so I sought speech therapy with Jane. She made me feel comfortable and we were able to work on reducing my secondary symptoms (body movements) as well as improving my fluency to a point I had not imagined was possible

Our daughter had undiagnosed ADHD. When she got to high school, the increased demands overwhelmed her and she struggled to keep up. We consulted with Jane to help her improve her time management, organization and planning skills. Jane not only helped her significantly with these skills, she referred her to a pediatric neurologist who diagnosed her with ADHD. Now with both medical management and speech therapy, she is once again thriving in school! We couldn’t be more pleased and we highly recommend Jane as a speech therapist.

My youngest son had experienced dysfluency challenges for quite a few years. Once-a-week group school speech therapy sessions hadn’t made a significant difference for him, so we decided to try private therapy. When he was in middle school, he began bi-weekly and then weekly appointments with Jane Kevorkian. His fluency improved magnificently over the time he spent in therapy with her, such that we’ve agreed that he now meets with Jane on an as-needed basis. We can’t thank her enough for her expertise in addressing this problem. My son felt very comfortable during every session and is so grateful for her help. His teachers report that his class participation is excellent! I highly recommend Jane’s approach!
